what's the thread sizes on this thing exactly, female side to male side?
Answer by: Customer Support on Jul 30, 2025, 6:54 AM
Female end is 7/8-14 JIC 37 degree flare and the male end steps up to 1-1/16-12 JIC 37 degree flare. Both are standard SAE 37 degree seats, so you're going from the smaller JIC size up to the larger one in a straight configuration. Zinc plated steel construction from Eaton Aeroquip, catalog number C1BC54 if you need to cross-reference it on your end.

got a hose end with 7/8-14 female JIC, will this adapter step me up to a 1-1/16-12 male JIC without any funny business
Answer by: Customer Support on Feb 20, 2026, 12:45 PM
It is a straight JIC 37 degree flare union that goes from 7/8-14 female JIC on one side to 1-1/16-12 male JIC on the other, both SAE 37 degree flare.
