fitting goes on a 1 inch NPT line, will this elbow adapter work for that or do I need something different?

Both the male and female ends on this adapter are 1-11/2 NPT, so a 1 inch NPT line is the right match. The swivel end is female NPSM internally and the fixed end is male NPTF externally, which is standard for this type of Eaton Aeroquip 2049 Series fitting.
