Designed for demanding industrial environments, the Steel Adapter, 1-1/4-11-1/2 Female NPT Swivel To 1-1/4-11-1/2 Male NPT, 45 Deg Elbow is part of the Eaton Aeroquip 2049 Series. The 45-degree elbow configuration allows for directional changes in tight or angled installations where straight fittings are not practical. The female NPT swivel end provides rotational flexibility during assembly, reducing stress on connected lines once secured.
Rated for use across a broad range of industries, this adapter is suited for marine and military applications, chemical processing, pulp and paper facilities, food and beverage processing, and offshore drilling. The steel construction supports the mechanical demands typical of these sectors. With A and B dimensions of 1.25 and 1.75 respectively, the fitting is sized for 1-1/4-inch NPT connections on both ends.

what industries is this adapter actually used in, and is it built for anything heavy duty or more general purpose?
Answer by: Customer Support on Dec 12, 2025, 6:08 AM
Marine, military, chemical processing, pulp and paper, food and beverage, and offshore drilling are all listed applications for this fitting. That covers a pretty wide range of demanding environments, so it holds up well beyond general shop use. The steel construction and Eaton Aeroquip's 2049 Series build quality back that up for serious industrial work.

How much room do I need to get this thing turned around once it's hooked up?
Answer by: Customer Support on Oct 19, 2025, 9:44 AM
You'll need about 1.75 inches of clearance (that's dimension B) to accommodate the elbow.
