It features a 9/16-18 female JIC 37-degree flare swivel and is suitable for -06 hose sizes. The straight configuration ensures ease of installation and compatibility in various hydraulic systems. End size 1 measures 0.5625 inches while end size 2 measures 0.375 inches suitable for precise connections.
Engineered without the need for a mandrel and withstanding a minimum working temperature of -40 degrees this fitting is reliable under extreme conditions. The torque rating is 20-22 lb/ft ensuring a secure connection without the need for thread sealant.
The hex size of the fitting is 0.56 inches adding to its versatility and ease of use. Perfect for applications requiring SAE 37-end type fittings the FJ3114-0606S is a dependable choice.
Hey, will this fitting hold up alright if I'm running hydraulic fluid through it in a colder environment? We get down below zero sometimes.

This fitting is designed to withstand minimum working temperatures as low as -40 degrees, so it should be suitable for colder environments where hydraulic fluid is being used.

fitting says reduced bore, does that mean the inside diameter is smaller than a standard -06 JIC fitting, or is that just what they call the hose end?
Answer by: Customer Support on Feb 25, 2026, 6:20 AM
Reduced bore means the internal flow path is narrower than a full-bore fitting of the same hose size. On this one, end size 1 comes in at 0.5625 inches and end size 2 at 0.375 inches, so yes, there is a size step-down built into the fitting itself. If your system needs unrestricted full-bore flow through a -06 line, this particular fitting would not be the right pick. For applications where a slight restriction is acceptable, it works fine and crimps onto -06 hose just like a standard fitting would.
Question by: Dwayne P on Feb 12, 2026, 2:20 PM
got a -06 hose here, will this fitting crimp on without needing a mandrel or anything fancy?
Answer by: Customer Support on Feb 13, 2026, 7:29 PM
For crimping convenience, this reduced bore steel fitting is engineered to crimp onto a -06 hose and it is specifically noted as no mandrel required.
