Manufactured by Eaton Aeroquip, the Steel Adapter, 7/8-14 Female JIC 37 deg Flare Swivel To 7/8-14 Male JIC 37 deg Flare, Long 90 deg Bent Tube (For pressures thru 4 Light Spiral Hose) is a same-size JIC elbow adapter designed for use with light spiral hose assemblies. The swivel end allows rotational positioning during installation without twisting the connected hose, while the 37-degree flare geometry on both ends ensures consistent, leak-resistant metal-to-metal seating.
With overall dimensions of 2.57 x 2.07 inches, this adapter is suited for routing hydraulic lines in tight or angled runs. Approved applications span marine and military equipment, chemical processing, pulp and paper facilities, food and beverage processing, and offshore drilling environments, making it a versatile fitting across demanding industrial sectors where reliable fluid connections are required.

Got a busted elbow fitting on a pulp processing line and need something that'll handle the routing without a bunch of extra fittings in the way. This a long 90 bent tube setup or more of a standard block elbow?
Answer by: Customer Support on Oct 23, 2025, 4:40 PM
Long 90 bent tube is exactly what it is. The geometry on this one gives you that sweeping bend rather than a sharp block-style turn, which makes it a lot easier to work around tight routing situations without stacking adapters. Both ends are 7/8-14 JIC 37 degree flare, with a swivel on the female side so you can get the alignment dialed in during installation without twisting the hose or tube. For a pulp and paper application it fits right in with what this fitting was built for.

got a hose end that’s 7/8-14 female JIC swivel, will this elbow mate up to a 7/8-14 male JIC on the other side?
Answer by: Customer Support on Aug 24, 2025, 6:23 AM
It’s a 7/8-14 Female JIC 37 degree flare swivel on one end and a 7/8-14 Male JIC 37 degree flare on the other, so it’s meant to connect those same-size JIC 37 degree flare ends together in a 90 degree elbow.
