Question by: Roy H on Oct 3, 2025, 5:11 PM
Got a hydraulic line running 5/8 BSPP male fittings and need to step it down to half-inch BSPP male on the other end, this the right piece for that?
Answer by: Customer Support on Oct 5, 2025, 6:53 AM
That's what this adapter is built for. One end is 5/8-14 Male BSPP and the other is 1/2-14 Male BSPP, both parallel thread, so you're stepping down between those two sizes in a straight configuration. It's a union-style adapter, meaning both ends are male, so you'd need female BSPP receivers on both sides of your line. Adaptall makes solid stuff for this kind of application, and the steel construction holds up well in demanding hydraulic setups.
