Will this adapter work for connecting a British parallel thread to a JIC flare fitting?
Answer by: Customer Support on Nov 15, 2025, 8:04 PM
Yes, this straight adapter is designed to connect a 1-11 Male British Parallel (BSPP) thread to a 1-5/16-12 Male JIC 37-degree Flare fitting.
Question by: Daryl R on Jul 8, 2025, 12:24 PM
Got a line running BSPP on one end and JIC 37 on the other, does this adapter go straight across or does it change the thread pitch somewhere in the middle?
Answer by: Customer Support on Jul 10, 2025, 8:26 AM
Straight conversion, no pitch changes in between. One end is 1-11 Male BSPP and the other is 1-5/16-12 Male JIC 37 degree flare. Both ends are male, so you'd be threading this into female ports or fittings on each side. The overall length on the A dimension runs 2.09 inches, which is worth accounting for when you're tight on space in a run.

trying to hook a bspP port to a JIC line, is this the straight adapter that does it?
Answer by: Customer Support on Sep 4, 2025, 3:42 PM
It’s a straight steel adapter that transitions from a 1-11 male British Standard Parallel Pipe (BSPP) end to a 1-5/16-12 male JIC 37 degree flare end, both male.
