got a tight spot on a hydraulic line. is this the 90 degree elbow that keeps it JIC on both ends, 3/4-16?
Answer by: Customer Support on Aug 18, 2025, 5:46 PM
It’s a 2039 Series 90 degree steel elbow adapter with 3/4-16 male JIC 37 degree flare on both ends, so it’s meant to turn the line while staying JIC flare to JIC flare.
Question by: Chad J on Dec 22, 2025, 12:58 PM
what industries is this 90 degree elbow adapter actually rated for? got a food processing line and need to know before i order a bunch of em
Answer by: Customer Support on Dec 23, 2025, 7:56 PM
Food and beverage processing is one of the listed applications for this fitting, along with marine, military, chemical processing, pulp and paper, and offshore drilling. So for a food processing line, it falls within the intended use range. Both ends are 3/4-16 male JIC 37 degree flare, and it's built to Eaton Aeroquip's 2039 Series standard, which covers a pretty broad range of demanding industrial environments.
