Question by: Pete G on Oct 12, 2025, 4:40 PM
got a hose end that’s 7/8-14 JIC flare, what’s on the other side of this adapter?
Answer by: Customer Support on Oct 13, 2025, 7:11 PM
On the opposite end you get a 5/8-14 male BSPP (British Parallel) thread, and it is a straight adapter meant to bridge a #10 male JIC 37 degree flare connection over to a #10 male BSPP connection.
Question by: Steve S on Jul 19, 2025, 8:36 PM
Reckon this adapter will hold up okay in a hydraulic system running near its max pressure, or should I look for somethin' beefier?
Answer by: Customer Support on Jul 21, 2025, 6:22 PM
This steel adapter is built for demanding industrial use, so it should handle standard hydraulic pressures without issue.
