Question by: Gene J on Apr 10, 2025, 1:10 PM
Will this fitting work for connecting a metric hose to a JIC flare?
Answer by: Customer Support on Apr 11, 2025, 3:44 PM
This adapter is designed to connect a M22 x 1.5 L series female metric swivel to a 3/4-16 male JIC 37 degree flare. So yes, that sounds right.
Question by: Roy M on Dec 30, 2025, 1:07 PM
got a line running 3/4-16 JIC on one end and M22 x 1.5 metric on the other, will this adapter bridge those two without needing any tape or sealant?
Answer by: Customer Support on Dec 31, 2025, 4:05 PM
JIC 37-degree flare connections are metal-to-metal sealing by design, and the L series female metric swivel on the other end works the same way. No thread sealant is needed on either side. The swivel end also gives you some rotational flexibility during assembly, which helps when the line doesn't want to sit at a perfect angle right off the bat.
