Got a busted union fitting on my hydraulic line and need a straight JIC-to-JIC replacement. This a male-to-male 7/8-14 on both ends?
Answer by: Customer Support on Aug 17, 2025, 2:55 PM
both ends are 7/8-14 male JIC with the 37-degree flare, so it functions as a union-style straight adapter connecting two female JIC fittings inline. It's part of Eaton Aeroquip's 2027 series, which covers exactly that kind of same-thread union application. If your existing setup has female JIC on both sides of the break, this should drop right in.

Just want to make sure, this fitting has the same size threads on both ends, right?
Answer by: Customer Support on Dec 17, 2025, 6:49 AM
That's correct. This adapter features 7/8-14 Male JIC 37 degree flare threads on both ends.
