Designed for demanding industrial environments, the Steel Adapter, 1-11-1/2 Male NPT To 1-5/16-12 Female JIC 37 Deg Flare Swivel, 90 Deg Elbow is part of the Eaton Aeroquip 2250 Series and provides a 90-degree directional change between male NPTF pipe threads and a female SAE 37-degree flare swivel connection.
The swivel design on the JIC end allows for rotational adjustment during installation, reducing stress on connected lines. With A and B dimensions of 1.95 and 1.27 respectively, this fitting is suited for use across marine and military systems, chemical processing, pulp and paper, food and beverage processing, and off-shore drilling applications where reliable thread engagement and leak-free performance are essential.

got a hose end that’s 1-5/16-12 JIC, will this elbow screw right on and still let me swivel it into position?
Answer by: Customer Support on Nov 30, 2025, 6:44 AM
For the hose side, it uses a 1-5/16-12 female JIC 37 degree flare swivel, so it mates to a 1-5/16-12 male JIC flare fitting and can be oriented during hookup. The other end is a 1-11-1/2 male NPTF pipe thread.

got a 1 inch NPT male port on a pump housing and need to swing the line 90 degrees over to a JIC fitting on the hose end. this the right piece for that?
Answer by: Customer Support on Apr 12, 2025, 9:43 AM
That setup is exactly what this adapter handles. The male end is 1-11/2 NPT, so it threads straight into your pump housing, and the female JIC swivel on the other end accepts a 1-5/16-12 JIC 37 degree flare fitting. The 90 degree elbow takes care of the direction change without needing an extra union or block. The swivel lets you position the hose before you lock everything down, which saves a lot of headache when space is tight.
