Suitable for applications in marine/military, chemical processing, pulp and paper industries, food and beverage processing, and off-shore drilling environments. The 1-11-1/2 Male NPT to 1-5/16-12 Male JIC 37 deg Flare straight connection ensures a secure and reliable seal.

This fitting features a male_1 end gender with a 1 NPTF end type and a male_2 end gender with a SAE 37 end type. The thread sizes are 1-11/12 and 1-5/16-12 respectively. Designed to withstand minimum working temperatures of -40 degrees. got a hose end that’s 1-5/16-12 JIC, does this adapter give me a 1 inch pipe thread on the other side?

On the JIC side, you are looking at a 1-5/16-12 male SAE 37 degree flare. The other end is a 1-11-1/2 male NPTF pipe thread, which is the common 1 inch NPTF size.

Will this adapter hold up in a marine environment where it'll be exposed to saltwater?
