trying to hook a 1/8 pipe port up to a jic line, is this the right adapter?
Answer by: Customer Support on Oct 14, 2025, 7:41 PM
For that kind of hookup, this straight steel adapter is made to go from a 1/8-27 male NPTF pipe thread on one end to a 3/8-24 male SAE 37 degree (JIC) flare on the other.

Hey, will this adapter work to connect a NPT pipe to a JIC flare fitting? I'm messin' with some hydraulics on my boat.
Answer by: Customer Support on Sep 16, 2025, 2:01 PM
It's made to adapt a 1/8-27 male NPT (pipe) thread to a 3/8-24 male JIC 37-degree flare fitting. So if those are the sizes you're workin' with, then yes, it should do the trick.

i got a hose end that’s 3/8-24 jic, and the port on the valve is 1/8 npt. is this the straight adapter that ties those two together?
Answer by: Customer Support on Nov 5, 2025, 4:30 PM
For hooking those two thread types together, that’s exactly what this adapter is for. One side is 1/8-27 male NPT (pipe thread) and the other side is 3/8-24 male JIC with a 37 degree flare, in a straight configuration.
