Trying to hook a pipe port up to a JIC line. is this the straight adapter that goes from 1-1/4-11-1/2 male NPTF over to 1-5/16-12 male JIC 37 flare?
Answer by: Customer Support on Jun 26, 2025, 6:00 AM
For a straight pipe to flare connection, this adapter matches those exact thread callouts. One end is male NPTF 1-1/4-11-1/2 and the other end is male SAE 37 degree flare with 1-5/16-12 threads.

got a hose end with a 1-5/16-12 JIC flare on it. is this the straight adapter that’ll let me tie into a 1-1/4-11-1/2 NPT port?
Answer by: Customer Support on Dec 4, 2025, 12:38 PM
Function-wise, yes. It is a straight steel adapter with a 1-1/4-11-1/2 male NPT on one end and a 1-5/16-12 male JIC 37 degree flare on the other, so it’s meant to bridge a pipe-thread NPT connection to a JIC 37 degree flare connection.

Got a line running 1-1/4 NPT male on one end and need to tie into a JIC 37 degree flare fitting on the other side, this adapter do that straight through?
Answer by: Customer Support on Jan 26, 2026, 7:08 PM
That's what this one's built for. One end is 1-1/4-11-1/2 male NPT and the other is 1-5/16-12 male JIC 37 degree flare, so it bridges those two thread types in a straight configuration without any angle or offset. Both ends are male, so make sure your mating connections are female on both sides before ordering.

What's the outside diameter of this adapter? Just want to make sure it'll fit in the space I have.

The "A" dimension, which I believe is the widest point, is 2.4 inches. So make sure you have a bit more than that to work with.
