i’ve got a hose end that’s 1-7/8-12 JIC, will this adapter mate up to it and then go into a 1-1/2-11-1/2 pipe port?
Answer by: Customer Support on Feb 19, 2026, 11:40 AM
On the JIC side it has a 1-7/8-12 male SAE 37 degree flare, and the other end is a 1-1/2-11-1/2 male NPTF pipe thread. So it matches a 1-7/8-12 JIC female on one side and a 1-1/2-11-1/2 NPTF female port on the other, in a straight adapter body.

Will this adapter work with standard JIC fittings?
Answer by: Customer Support on Mar 16, 2026, 6:55 AM
Yes, this adapter is designed to connect a 1-1/2-11-1/2 Male NPT to a 1-7/8-12 Male JIC 37-degree flare. So, if your fittings meet those specs, it should work just fine.

got a hose setup with 1-1/2-11-1/2 male NPT on one side and i need to land on a 1-7/8-12 male JIC, is this the straight adapter for that?
Answer by: Customer Support on Sep 16, 2025, 6:51 AM
For a straight male to male adapter, this one matches those exact thread callouts: 1-1/2-11-1/2 male NPT on one end and 1-7/8-12 male JIC 37 degree flare on the other. It is an Eaton Aeroquip Danfoss 2021 series pipe to 37 degree flare straight adapter.
Question by: Diane C on May 31, 2025, 1:57 PM
Got a hydraulic line running 1-1/2 NPT male on one end and need to tie into a JIC 37 degree flare fitting on the other, does this adapter bridge that gap straight through without any reducer in between?
Answer by: Customer Support on Jun 1, 2025, 5:08 PM
That's what this one does. One end is 1-1/2-11-1/2 male NPT and the other is 1-7/8-12 male JIC 37 degree flare, all in a straight configuration with no reduction. Both ends are male, so you'll need female counterparts on each side of your line. No intermediate fittings required.
