This straight steel adapter connects a 3/8-18 Male NPT thread to a 3/4-16 Male JIC 37° flare fitting, making it a practical solution for joining mismatched thread types in hydraulic and fluid power circuits. Manufactured to Danfoss Power Solutions (Aeroquip) 2021 Series standards, it is rated for a minimum working temperature of -40°F and carries an ECCN classification of EAR99.
The Steel Adapter, 3/8-18 Male NPT To 3/4-16 Male JIC 37 deg Flare, Straight is suited for demanding environments including marine and military applications, chemical processing, pulp and paper, food and beverage processing, and offshore drilling. The NPTF end provides a pressure-tight mechanical seal, while the SAE 37° flare end ensures reliable connection to standard JIC fittings. No thread sealant is required. Tube OD compatibility is 0.5 inches.

got a hose end that’s 3/4-16 JIC, will this adapter screw right on and still give me a 3/8-18 pipe thread on the other side?
Answer by: Customer Support on Oct 5, 2025, 3:48 PM
For a straight male-to-male hookup, it matches those ends: one side is 3/4-16 SAE 37 degree flare (JIC) male, and the other side is 3/8-18 male NPTF.

trying to hook a 3/8 npt port up to a 3/4-16 jic hose end, is this the right straight adapter?
Answer by: Customer Support on Jan 30, 2026, 4:10 PM
Connects a 3/8-18 male NPT pipe thread on one side to a 3/4-16 male JIC 37 degree flare on the other, and it is a straight (in-line) adapter in the Eaton Aeroquip 2021 series.

got a 3/8 NPT male port on a hydraulic block and need to tie into a 3/4-16 JIC line, this adapter do that straight through?
Answer by: Customer Support on Feb 9, 2026, 2:37 PM
That's what this one's built for. One end is 3/8-18 male NPT, the other is 3/4-16 male JIC with a 37-degree flare seat. Both ends are male, so you'd be threading the NPT side into your port and mating the JIC end to a female JIC fitting on your line. Straight configuration means no offset or angle, just a clean inline connection.
