The adapter features a 1/2-14 Male NPT to 3/4-16 Male JIC 37 deg Flare. The thread sealant is 0. It is constructed from steel and has a minimum working temperature of -40.

Trying to hook a pipe port to a JIC hose end, is this the straight adapter for that?

For a pipe-to-flare hookup, this adapter bridges a 1/2-14 male NPTF thread on one side to a 3/4-16 male SAE 37 degree (JIC) flare on the other, in a straight body style.

what industries is this adapter rated for, or is it pretty much general purpose only?
