This steel adapter is a pipe to 37° Flare Steel Adapter with a 45-degree elbow, suitable for applications in marine/military, chemical processing, pulp and paper industries, food and beverage processing, and off-shore drilling environments.

The adapter features a 1/4-18 Male NPT to 9/16-18 Male SAE 45-degree flare connection. It has a minimum working temperature of -65 degrees. The end connections feature male genders. End 1 is size 0.25 with a NPTF type, and thread size of 1/4-18. End 2 is size 0.5625 with a SAE 37 type, and thread size of 9/16-18.

what industries is this adapter actually used in? trying to figure out if it fits what we're doing on the processing side of things

Will this fitting work okay for connecting a quarter-inch NPT male to a nine-sixteenths SAE flare?
