This steel adapter features a 3/8-18 male NPT to 3/4-16 male SAE 45 deg flare, 45 deg elbow connection. Suitable for applications including marine/military, chemical processing, pulp and paper industries, and food and beverage processing.

The minimum working temperature is -65 degrees. This pipe to 37° Flare Steel Adapters model has a drop dimension of 0.9800. The end 1 size is 0.375 and the end 2 size is 0.75. It is applicable to off-shore drilling. Thread 1 is 3/8-18 and thread 2 is 3/4-16.

got a hose end with a 3/4-16 JIC on it, is this the elbow that’ll let me tie into a 3/8-18 NPT port?

Yes. This adapter is a 45 degree elbow with a 3/8-18 male NPT pipe thread on one end and a 3/4-16 male SAE flare (JIC) on the other, so it’s meant for exactly that kind of NPT port to JIC connection.

Can this elbow adapter handle marine environments without corroding?
