got a hose end that’s 9/16-18 JIC swivel, will this adapter mate up to it and then screw into an ORB port?
Answer by: Customer Support on Aug 19, 2025, 9:21 PM
For that setup, yes. One side is a 9/16-18 male SAE O-ring boss (straight thread O-ring) and the other side is a 9/16-18 female JIC 37 degree flare swivel, in a straight adapter body.

Got a port on my hydraulic manifold that's SAE O-Ring Boss and I need to connect a JIC swivel line to it, this the right adapter for that?
Answer by: Customer Support on Dec 3, 2025, 4:30 PM
That's what this one's built for. The male end threads into a 9/16-18 SAE O-Ring Boss port, and the female JIC swivel on the other end accepts a 9/16-18 JIC 37 degree flare fitting. The swivel feature lets you rotate the line side during installation so you're not fighting the hose to get it to sit right. Straight configuration, so no angle to account for.
