got a hose end that’s 3/4-16 JIC, will this adapter mate up to it and what’s on the other side?
Answer by: Customer Support on Nov 16, 2025, 8:23 PM
Function-wise, it connects a 3/4-16 female JIC 37 degree flare swivel on one end to a 9/16-18 male SAE O-Ring Boss (straight thread O-ring) on the other. It is a straight steel adapter, so it is meant to transition between those two common hydraulic fitting styles.

what's the thread setup on this thing, is the male end a straight thread or does it have a taper to it?
Answer by: Customer Support on Jan 1, 2026, 9:37 AM
The male end runs a 9/16-18 SAE O-Ring Boss, which is a straight thread design. It seals against a port using an O-ring rather than relying on a tapered thread crush like NPT does. The female end is a 3/4-16 JIC 37-degree flare swivel, so that side connects to a standard JIC fitting with the cone-style metal-to-metal seat. Two completely different connection styles on each end, which is exactly the point of an adapter like this.

trying to hook an ORB port to a JIC hose end, is this the right adapter or am i mixing up the threads
Answer by: Customer Support on Sep 10, 2025, 9:56 AM
Function-wise, it bridges a 9/16-18 male SAE O-ring boss (straight thread O-ring) connection over to a 3/4-16 female JIC 37 degree flare swivel, in a straight adapter body.

What's the A dimension on this adapter? Just need to make sure it fits in the space I have.
Answer by: Customer Support on Oct 22, 2025, 7:55 PM
The "A" dimension, which I believe refers to the overall length, is 1.18 inches. This should help you confirm if it fits your space constraints.
