trying to hook an ORB port to a JIC hose end, is this the right adapter?

For tying those two styles together, it matches a 3/4-16 male SAE O-ring boss on one end and a 9/16-18 male JIC 37 degree flare on the other, in a straight steel adapter.

Got a port on my hydraulic manifold that's 3/4-16 ORB and need to run a JIC line off it, this adapter gonna bridge that gap?

That's exactly the job this fitting handles. One end threads into a 3/4-16 SAE O-Ring Boss port, and the other end gives you a 9/16-18 Male JIC 37-degree flare connection to mate with your JIC hose or tube assembly. Both ends are male, so you'd need the corresponding female connections on each side. It's a straight configuration, no angle, which works well when you've got a clean inline run and don't need to redirect the line.
