got a line running from a 13/16-16 ORB port down to a component with an 11/16-16 ORS fitting, this the right adapter to bridge those two?
Answer by: Customer Support on Dec 6, 2025, 6:02 AM
Both ends on this adapter are SAE O-Ring Face Seal, not O-Ring Boss, so make sure you're working with ORS ports on both sides before installing it. If that's what you've got, then yes, it steps a -8 ORS male down to a -6 ORS male in a straight configuration. It's part of Eaton Aeroquip's FF2000T Series, built for exactly this kind of reducer application in hydraulic lines.

This adapter is suitable for use in hydraulic systems utilizing a range of fluids, as shown in the fluid compatibility document provided by Eaton. It's always best practice to check the document to ensure compatibility and prevent system damage.

got a hose end with 13/16-16 ORFS and the port on the other side is 11/16-16 ORFS. is this the straight adapter for that?
Answer by: Customer Support on Feb 11, 2026, 7:08 AM
For stepping between those two SAE O-ring face seal sizes, this adapter matches 13/16-16 male ORFS on one end and 11/16-16 male ORFS on the other, in a straight configuration.
