does this adapter need thread sealant or tape to seal up proper, or is it good to go as-is?

No sealant or tape needed on this one. BSPP threads seal on a mating face or with an O-ring rather than relying on thread engagement to create the seal, so you won't need to wrap it or coat it before installation. got a hose setup with 1/2-14 BSPP on both ends, but i need one side to swivel. is this the right adapter for that?
