This steel adapter is suitable for marine applications, offering a durable and reliable fluid connection. It's also used in offshore drilling, so it should handle saltwater pretty well.
Question by: Patty B on Nov 16, 2025, 5:11 PM
got a 3/4-16 male SAE O-ring boss port on a hydraulic block and need to step it down to a 9/16-18 female connection, this the right adapter for that?
Answer by: Customer Support on Nov 17, 2025, 6:08 PM
That's what this one does. The male end threads into your 3/4-16 SAE O-ring boss port, and the female end accepts a 9/16-18 SAE O-ring boss fitting. Both ends use straight-thread O-ring sealing, so you get a leak-resistant connection without relying on thread deformation to hold pressure. It's made by Eaton Aeroquip, part of their FF1010 series, and the overall length on dimension A comes in at 1.06 inches.
