Part of the Eaton Aeroquip FF2281T Series, this Steel Adapter, 13/16-16 Male O-Ring Face Seal To 1-14 Female O-Ring Face Seal, Straight provides a reliable ORS-to-ORS straight connection in demanding industrial environments. The O-ring face seal design on both ends minimizes the risk of leakage, making it well suited for high-integrity hydraulic circuit connections.
Rated for use across a range of challenging industries, including marine and military, chemical processing, offshore drilling, pulp and paper, and food and beverage processing, this adapter is built to perform where contamination control and connection integrity matter. With an A dimension of 1.12, it fits within space-conscious assemblies while maintaining full-flow geometry across the transition from the 13/16-16 male end to the 1-14 female end.

Got a hydraulic line running ORS fittings on both ends and need to step up from a 13/16-16 male to a 1-14 female, this the right piece for that?
Answer by: Customer Support on Dec 21, 2025, 7:00 AM
That's what this adapter handles. The male end is 13/16-16 O-ring face seal and the female end is 1-14 O-ring face seal, straight through with no angle. Both ends use the face seal design, so you get a solid, leak-resistant connection on each side without needing extra fittings in between.

got a hose end thats 13/16-16 ORFS male. will this adapter let me step up to a 1-14 ORFS female port?
Answer by: Customer Support on Nov 23, 2025, 3:06 PM
Function-wise, yes. It is a straight steel ORFS to ORFS adapter with a 13/16-16 male O-ring face seal on one end and a 1-14 female O-ring face seal on the other, so it bridges those two ORFS thread sizes in-line.

Can this adapter handle hydraulic fluid in a food processing plant, or do I need something special?
Answer by: Customer Support on Oct 27, 2025, 7:15 PM
This adapter is rated for applications in food and beverage processing, where contamination control is important. It’s also compatible with a range of fluids, as detailed in the fluid compatibility document.
