Product Questions & Answers (2)

Question by: Rusty H on Jan 9, 2026, 9:13 PM
fitting's rated for 250 bar -- is that enough for standard hydraulic line work or is that on the lower end?
Answer by: Customer Support on Jan 11, 2026, 7:03 PM
For a good chunk of hydraulic applications, 250 bar gets the job done without issue. That said, this is an L Series fitting, and the broader L Series range can go higher depending on tube size and configuration. If your system runs closer to the upper pressure limits in your circuit, it's worth confirming your working pressure sits comfortably within that 250 bar rating with a reasonable safety margin. The series carries a 4:1 safety factor, so there's built-in headroom, but staying within rated limits is the right call regardless.
Question by: Freddie S on Jan 9, 2026, 6:40 PM
Reckon this here plug'll hold up good in a hydraulic system running at about 250 bar?
Answer by: Customer Support on Jan 11, 2026, 8:43 AM
That pressure rating matches the maximum operating pressure listed, so it should be suitable for systems up to 250 bar. Just make sure your system doesn't exceed that.
