got a line with 1-1/2-11-1/2 male NPT on it, and i need to step it down to a 1-11-1/2 female NPT. is that what this bushing does?
Answer by: Customer Support on Oct 29, 2025, 9:01 PM
It’s a pipe to pipe steel bushing that adapts from a 1-1/2-11-1/2 male NPTF thread on one end to a 1-11-1/2 female NPTF thread on the other, so it’s meant for that exact step-down connection.

Will this adapter work for hydraulic systems, or is it just for grease and instrumentation?

It's suitable for grease, instrumentation, and most hydraulic systems according to the description.

Got a 1-inch female NPT port on a manifold and need to connect it up to a 1-1/2-inch male NPT line. This bushing do that job?
Answer by: Customer Support on Feb 18, 2026, 7:09 AM
That's what this fitting is built for. The male end is 1-1/2 inch NPT at 11-1/2 threads per inch, and the female end is 1 inch NPT at the same thread pitch. Threads up into your manifold's female port and accepts the larger male line on the outside. Eaton Aeroquip 2081 series, steel construction, fits grease, instrumentation, and most hydraulic system applications.
