trying to step a 1/4 npt port down to 1/8 npt, is this the right bushing for that?

Function-wise, it’s a reducer bushing that goes from 1/4-18 male NPT on the outside to 1/8-27 female NPT on the inside, so it’s meant for exactly that kind of step-down.
