fitting says "reduced bore", does that mean the flow path is smaller than a standard -12 fitting, or is that just the thread end?

Reduced bore refers to the internal flow passage being smaller than what a full-bore -12 fitting would carry. The hose end is still sized for -12 one-wire braid hose, but the bore through the fitting body itself is restricted. For most general hydraulic circuit work that's fine, but if you're running an application where flow restriction is a real concern, like a high-demand return line or a circuit with tight pressure drop tolerances, it's worth factoring that in before installing.

trying to match up a fitting i pulled off, is this one a -12 hose end with a 1-1/16-14 female JIC swivel and a short 90?
