trying to match up a hose end i got, is this one the straight female JIC swivel with 3/4-16 threads for a -10 hose?

fitting says -10 hose but the thread end is 3/4-16, so is this one of them reduced bore setups where the two sizes dont match up?

Correct, the bore through the fitting is sized down relative to the hose end, which is what "reduced bore" means on these. The hose side accepts -10 hose and the swivel end runs a 3/4-16 thread with a 37-degree JIC flare seat. Those two dimensions serve different purposes, so the mismatch is intentional, not a listing error. That configuration is pretty common when you need to step down flow or connect into a port that doesn't match the hose ID directly.

fitting says it's reusable -- does that mean I can pull it off one hose and put it on another, or is it more of a "reusable during original assembly" kind of thing?
