Trying to match up a replacement, is this the 90 degree swivel JIC female that takes a 9/16-18 thread and fits a -06 hose?
Answer by: Customer Support on Jun 8, 2025, 4:26 PM
For fit-up, the key callouts on this one are a 9/16-18 female JIC 37 degree flare swivel on one end, built for -06 hose size, and it is a 90 degree elbow style reusable steel fitting for 1 wire braid Teflon hose.

Designed for demanding environments, this steel fitting offers durability and reliability for various hydraulic needs, making it suitable for log splitters.
Question by: Janet T on Sep 9, 2025, 10:07 AM
fitting says reusable, does that mean I can pull it off the hose and put it back on a new one if the hose goes bad?
Answer by: Customer Support on Sep 10, 2025, 8:00 PM
Reusable in this context means the fitting itself can be removed from a worn or damaged hose and reinstalled onto a fresh cut of the same hose type. No mandrel is needed for the process, which keeps things straightforward. The hose cutoff length is 1.1 inches, so you'll want a clean, square cut at that length when you're ready to reassemble. Just make sure the replacement hose is the correct -06 size and rated for 1 wire braid Teflon construction, and you're good to go.
