fitting says "reduced bore" on the -08 hose, does that mean flow's gonna be restricted compared to a standard -08 fitting?

Reduced bore means the internal passage is narrower than a full-bore -08 fitting, so yes, there is some flow restriction compared to a standard bore equivalent. For most hydraulic circuits running moderate flow rates that tradeoff is acceptable, but if your system is already tight on flow capacity or running high velocity through that line, it's worth accounting for the bore reduction in your calculations before installing.

trying to swap out an old elbow, is this one the kind that screws into a 3/4-18 SAE male inverted flare port and takes a -08 hose?
