Product Questions & Answers (2)

Question by: Cheryl C on Aug 3, 2025, 6:17 PM
What kind of hoses will this fitting work with?
Answer by: Customer Support on Aug 5, 2025, 2:22 PM
It's made for use with -06 size hoses, so you'll want to make sure your hose matches that spec.
Question by: Sheila C on Mar 12, 2026, 10:16 AM
fitting says it don't need thread sealant -- is that right for an inverted flare setup like this?
Answer by: Customer Support on Mar 14, 2026, 8:27 AM
Correct. Inverted flare connections seal on the flare seat itself, not on the threads, so thread sealant would actually interfere with getting a proper metal-to-metal seal. No tape, no paste, nothing on the threads. Just make sure the mating flare surface is clean and undamaged before you torque it down.
