trying to replace a worn out fitting on a whip hose, is this the one that goes from a 1 inch hose ID barb to 1 inch male npt?

Got a pavement breaker that eats through fittings real fast from all the vibration. Will this nipple hold up to that kind of punishment or is it gonna loosen up on me?
