Product Questions & Answers (2)

Question by: Rusty H on Oct 12, 2025, 2:12 PM
got a 9/16-18 SAE port on a machine, is this the right coupling thread for it?
Answer by: Customer Support on Oct 14, 2025, 11:42 AM
The key callout on this coupling is the 9/16-18 SAE UN-2B internal thread. If your mating part is 9/16-18 SAE, that thread spec matches what this coupling is made with.
Question by: Rick M on Dec 9, 2025, 8:04 PM
does this coupling work with standard SAE fittings or do i need something special to hook it up?
Answer by: Customer Support on Dec 11, 2025, 5:38 PM
The thread on this coupling is a 9/16-18 SAE UN-2B, so it mates with standard SAE fittings using that same thread spec. The socket weld end connects to your pipe or tubing through a weld joint rather than a threaded connection on that side, so as long as your fittings match the SAE thread and your fabricator can handle the weld side, you are good to go with standard hardware.
