Stepless Ear Pinch Clamp, Stainless, 0.425 - 0.524 Inch Clamping Range, 0.276 Inch Width

Description & Features

The stepless ear pinch clamp in stainless steel is designed with a clamping range of 0.425 - 0.524 inches and a width of 0.276 inches, making it ideal for secure attachment of low durometer or thin-walled hoses and tubing. It is especially suitable for applications involving silicon, vinyl, and polyurethane lines.

Featuring a smooth inner band, this clamp helps prevent damage to the hose, while the unique tongue-in-groove design ensures a 360deg; seal, enhancing its reliability and performance under pressure, vibration, and temperature changes.

For installation, it is recommended that the clamp shows a gap of approximately 1/16 inch, which builds resilient strength into the clamp, acting like a spring to maintain hold over time. If the ear can be fully closed, a smaller clamp should be selected.

Question by: Warren M on Jun 9, 2025, 10:27 AM
What kind of hoses work best with these clamps? Just wanna make sure I get the right fit.
Answer by: Customer Support on Jun 11, 2025, 6:38 AM
For low durometer or thin-walled hoses, this clamp is a good choice. It works well with silicon, vinyl, and polyurethane lines in particular.
Question by: Peggy R on Jun 30, 2025, 9:48 AM
got some thin-wall silicone hose I need to clamp down tight without crushing it, will this style of clamp work for that kind of tubing?
Answer by: Customer Support on Jul 2, 2025, 6:57 AM
Soft, thin-walled hose is exactly what this clamp is built around. The inner band is smooth all the way around, so it won't bite into or deform the hose material the way a traditional worm-drive clamp can. It's well suited for silicone, vinyl, and polyurethane lines specifically, and the tongue-in-groove design wraps a full 360 degrees to give you an even, consistent seal rather than a pressure point at the screw housing.
Question by: Marvin B on Nov 13, 2025, 6:46 PM
got some soft silicone tubing, how do i know if this clamp is the right size?
Answer by: Customer Support on Nov 15, 2025, 6:32 AM
Start with the tubing outside diameter and match it to the clamp’s clamping range of 0.425 to 0.524 inch. During install, you want the ear pinched down with about a 1/16 inch gap left, since that spring-like tension is what helps it keep holding as the hose sees pressure, vibration, and temperature changes. If you can pinch the ear fully closed, the clamp is too large and you should step down to the next smaller size.
