This Style 1400 Glass-Filled PTFE Piston Seal from Hercules Sealing Products provides reliable sealing performance in hydraulic applications. Constructed from 15% glass-filled PTFE, the seal is energized by a rubber component to maintain contact force. It accommodates a bore diameter of 1.625 inches with a tolerance of ±0.002 inches, and fits a groove diameter of 1.233 inches with a groove width tolerance of ±0.002 inches.

The Style 1400 Glass-Filled PTFE Piston Seal is suitable for pressures ranging from 0 to 5,000 PSI and temperatures from -40°F to 220°F. It is designed for a piston diameter of 1.622 inches, with a piston diameter tolerance of ±0.001 inches.

So this seal fits into a groove that's 1.233 inches across, right? Just want to make sure I'm reading that correctly.

got a cylinder with a 1.625 bore. is this style 1400 seal the right size or am i off a hair

what's the temp range on this seal? got equipment that sees both cold mornings and pretty hot afternoon cycles and just want to make sure it'll hold up

Rated from -40°F up to 220°F, so it covers a solid spread on both ends. Cold startups and warm running conditions through a full workday should fall well within that window.
