Designed for hydraulic cylinder applications requiring chemical resistance and reliable performance across a wide pressure range, the Style 1400 Glass-Filled PTFE Piston Seal is built for 6.00-inch bore diameters with a groove diameter of 5.482 inches and a piston diameter of 5.996 inches. The seal is constructed from 15% glass-filled PTFE with a rubber energizer, a combination that provides dimensional stability and consistent sealing force under dynamic conditions.

Rated for pressures from 0 to 5,000 PSI and temperatures from -40°F to 220°F, this seal suits a broad range of hydraulic cylinder environments. The glass-filled PTFE construction offers low friction characteristics and resistance to wear, making it well suited for both linear and reciprocating piston applications. Hercules Sealing Products manufactures this seal to tight tolerances, including ±0.002 inches on bore and groove width.
