Designed for hydraulic cylinder piston applications, the Style 1600 Glass-Filled PTFE Piston Seal offers reliable sealing performance across a pressure range of 0 to 5,000 PSI and a temperature range of -40°F to 220°F. The 2.00-inch bore diameter and 1.72-inch groove diameter make this seal suited for medium-bore cylinder assemblies where dimensional precision is critical.

Constructed from 15% glass-filled PTFE with a rubber energizer, this seal combines low friction with dimensional stability under load. The glass-filled compound provides improved wear resistance compared to virgin PTFE, while the rubber energizer maintains consistent sealing contact pressure. Piston diameter dimensions are given for pistons without wear rings.

got a 2 inch bore cylinder, is this the right style 1600 piston seal for it or am i gonna be off on the groove size?

This Style 1600 seal is for a 2.00 inch bore with a 1.723 inch groove diameter, and it’s set up around a 1.999 inch piston diameter (pistons without wear rings).
