Rated for pressures from 0 to 5,000 PSI and a temperature range of -40°F to 220°F, the Style 1600 Glass-Filled PTFE Piston Seal is a dual-component seal combining a 15% glass-filled PTFE sealing element with a rubber energizer. The glass fill provides dimensional stability and low friction characteristics suited to hydraulic cylinder piston applications.

This seal is designed for a 2.25 inch bore, with a groove diameter of 1.937 inches and a seal cross section of 0.055 inches. Piston diameter is 2.249 inches, with a tolerance of +0.000 / -0.003 inches. Note that piston diameter dimensions apply to pistons without wear rings. Bore tolerance is ±0.001 inches, and groove width tolerance is +0.003 / -0.000 inches.

trying to match up a piston seal i pulled out, is this style 1600 one the right fit for a 2.25 bore and 1.937 groove dia?

As long as your cylinder falls within those ranges, it should seat properly without any machining or rework. One thing worth noting: those piston diameter dimensions are for pistons without wear rings, so if yours has wear rings already installed, the fit math will be different.
