Description & Features

Designed for hydraulic cylinder applications, the Style 1600 Glass-Filled PTFE Piston Seal handles bore diameters of 2.75 inches and is rated for pressures from 0 to 5,000 PSI across a temperature range of -40°F to 220°F. The seal seats into a groove diameter of 2.348 inches and is paired with a rubber energizer that maintains consistent sealing force throughout the operating range.

Construction uses 15% glass-filled PTFE, which provides low friction characteristics and resistance to chemical degradation in demanding hydraulic environments. The seal cross section measures 0.085 inches with a seal height of 0.15 inches. Piston diameter is 2.749 inches, and dimensional tolerances are closely held to support accurate fitment, groove width tolerance is +0.003 / -0 inches, and bore tolerance is ±0.001 inches. Piston diameter dimensions apply to pistons without wear rings.
