This Style 1600 Glass-Filled PTFE Piston Seal is manufactured by Hercules Sealing Products. It has a 4.25 inch bore diameter and a 3.85 inch groove diameter.

trying to swap out a piston seal, how tight do i need to be on the bore size for this one

The bore is 4.25 inches with a stated bore tolerance of plus or minus 0.001 inch. The matching piston diameter is 4.249 inches with a piston diameter tolerance of +0 / -0.004 inch.
