SUS Series Suction Strainers, Up To 100 GPM

Description & Features

Application Used submerged in reservoir to protect hydraulic pumps from larger solid contaminants. An access opening should be provided so strainer can be removed for cleaning. Strainers are usually mounted horizontally with the top of the strainer at least 3 inches below the lowest oil level (to prevent cavitation). (For larger sizes use 1-1/2 pipe diameters instead of 3 inches).
Features Nylon head (Most models). Aluminum head (Certain Stauff models, see table). Cleanable. Standard 100 mesh (150 micron) pleated stainless steel wire screen epoxy-bonded to head.
