Designed for mobile and industrial hydraulic circuits, the SV13-12-O Series 2-Way, 2-Position, Normally Open Solenoid Cartridge Valve from Eaton Vickers is a pilot-operated, poppet-type screw-in cartridge valve rated to 5,000 PSI with a 30 GPM flow rating. In the de-energized state, it permits bi-directional flow between ports 1 and 2. When energized, flow from port 2 to port 1 is blocked, while flow from port 1 to port 2 is permitted once spring force is overcome.
The cartridge body is constructed from hardened and ground steel with Buna-N seals, and fits a C-12-2 cavity. Internal leakage is less than 5 drops per minute at maximum pressure. Recommended fluid cleanliness is ISO 4406 level 18/16/13 or cleaner, and the valve is rated for temperatures from -40°F to 212°F. Compatible with the 10-series coil (29 W), sold separately. Suited for harvesters, refuse haulers, and a range of mobile and industrial hydraulic applications.

got a valve bank that takes a C-12-2 cavity, is this the right cartridge or am i lookin at the wrong one
Answer by: Customer Support on Sep 26, 2025, 6:59 AM
The SV13-12-O series is a screw-in cartridge that uses cavity size C-12-2, and it does require a machined cavity or housing for installation. Keep in mind this SKU is the cartridge only, with no housing and no coil included.

This valve body is designed to work with a 10 series, 29 W coil, sold separately.
