Group Description	The SV3-10-C is a 2-way, 2-position, pilot operated, poppet-type, normally closed screw-in cartridge solenoid valve, and requires a machined cavity or housing for installation.
Flow Rating	12 GPM.
Housing	Cavity size C-10-2, sold separately, see
Internal Leakage	Less than 5 drops per minute maximum @ 3000 PSI.
Note	Performance data is typical with fluid at 105 SSU and 120°F.
Operation	In the de-energized position, flow is blocked from port 2 to port 1 and free flow is allowed from port 1 to port 2. In the energized position, the poppet lifts to allow flow in either direction.
Pressure Rating	3000 PSI.
Recommended Filtration	ISO 4406 Cleanliness Level 18/16/13 or cleaner.
Solenoid Connectors	(Required on models that use DIN 43650 connectors).
Temperature Range	-40°F to 248°F (Extreme Limits).

How critical is it to keep the hydraulic fluid clean with this valve?

Maintaining the hydraulic fluid at ISO 4406 cleanliness level 18/16/13 or cleaner is recommended for optimal performance and longevity of the valve.
