This valve allows bi-directional flow between port 1 and port 2 in a de-energized position. When energized, flow is blocked from port 2 to port 1 and allowed from port 1 to port 2 upon overcoming spring force.
Designed for mobile and industrial applications such as harvesters and refuse haulers, this unit operates reliably up to a pressure rating of 3000 PSI.
With an impressive flow rating of 30 GPM and minimal leakage, it provides efficient control. The recommended filtration level is ISO 4406 Cleanliness Level 17/15/12 or cleaner. The installation type is screw-in cartridge with a cavity size of C-12-2 or C-12-2U.
Constructed from durable, hardened, and ground steel, it operates within a temperature range of -40deg;F to 248deg;F. Enhanced by Buna-N seal material, this valve ensures long-lasting performance. Its compact design and economical operation make it a reliable choice in demanding environments.

got a screw-in manifold with a C-12-2 cavity, is this the right cartridge for it or am i barking up the wrong tree
Answer by: Customer Support on Dec 4, 2025, 6:21 AM
Fit comes down to the cavity, and this valve is a screw-in cartridge built for a C-12-2 or C-12-2U cavity. Keep in mind it ships as the cartridge only, so the housing is separate.
Question by: Hank C on Oct 20, 2025, 6:22 PM
running this on a refuse hauler that sees pretty hard daily use -- does the valve hold up once its energized or does it leak bad over time?
Answer by: Customer Support on Oct 21, 2025, 9:35 PM
Leakage from port 2 to port 1 is rated at less than 5 drops per minute maximum at 3000 PSI when the valve is energized. That's a tight spec for a valve in this class, and the cartridge body is hardened and ground steel, so it holds up well under the kind of repetitive cycling you'd see on a refuse truck. The Buna-N seals are rated for a temperature range of -40°F to 248°F, so heat buildup during heavy daily runs isn't going to be an immediate concern either.

What size cavity does this thing need?
Answer by: Customer Support on Sep 4, 2025, 1:07 PM
For installation, this cartridge valve requires a cavity size C-12-2 or C-12-2U.
