The Vickers by Danfoss / Eaton SV3-20-O/OP/OS Series solenoid valves provide reliable economical and compact valve solutions. Designed for high-pressure environments this solenoid-operated valve operates at a pressure rating of 3000 PSI and a flow rating of 60 GPM. Its bi-directional flow capability between port 1 and port 2 in the de-energized position makes it suitable for a variety of industrial applications.

The valve features hardened and ground steel construction ensuring durability and longevity in demanding conditions. With a recommended filtration level of ISO 4406 Cleanliness Level 18/16/13 the valve sustains optimal performance across a wide temperature range of -40deg;F to 248deg;F.

Designed for screw-in cartridge installation this 2-way 2-position normally open valve is versatile for harvesters refuse haulers and other mobile and industrial applications. The internal leakage of less than 5 drops per minute at maximum 3000 PSI ensures efficient operations.

valve comes without a coil and housing, so what exactly do i need to get this thing up and running?

The cartridge itself is what you're getting here, no coil, no housing included. For the coil, you'll want a J Series 20 Watt unit, sold separately. The housing requires a machined cavity sized for C-20-2, also sold separately. Without both of those pieces, the cartridge won't have anything to mount into or any way to receive an electrical signal. Once you have all three components together, it installs as a screw-in cartridge, so no exotic tooling is needed for the physical install.

Will this valve work in a mobile hydraulic system on a harvester?

It sure will. This 2-way, 2-position valve is often used in harvesters, as well as refuse haulers and other mobile and industrial applications.
