The SV9-10 Series 4-Way, 3-Position Solenoid Cartridge Valve, Tandem Center, is designed to operate in complex hydraulic systems for mobile and industrial applications, such as harvesters and refuse haulers. It functions efficiently at a pressure rating of 3000 PSI, with a maximum internal leakage of 15 insup3; per minute at 3000 PSI. Made from hardened and ground steel, this valve is reliable, economical, and compact.

The valve features a direct-acting mechanism and operates with four ports: in the de-energized position, tandem center valves permit flow from port 3 to port 1 while blocking ports 2 and 4. When solenoid 1 is energized, flow is redirected from port 3 to port 2 and port 4 to port 1. When solenoid 2 is energized, flow moves from port 3 to port 4 and port 2 to port 1.

This cartridge-style valve is compatible with a J Series 20 Watt coil, sold separately. The recommended filtration level is 18/16/13 microns according to ISO 4406 cleanliness standards. The valve operates effectively within an extreme temperature range of -40deg;F to 248deg;F and requires screw-in cartridge installation.

does this valve come with the coil or housing, or do i need to track those down separate?

The cartridge itself is what you get here. No coil and no housing are included. You'll need a J Series 20 Watt coil and a separate housing with a C-10-4 cavity size, both sold separately. Worth making sure you've got those lined up before installation since the cartridge won't function without them.

got a tandem center setup here, when neither coil is powered what’s this valve doing with the ports?

In the de-energized position on the tandem center version, it lets flow go from port 3 to port 1 and it blocks ports 2 and 4. When you energize solenoid 1, it routes 3 to 2 and 4 to 1. When you energize solenoid 2, it routes 3 to 4 and 2 to 1.
